Just let her run around without pants they said… She won’t poop on the floor they said…

My 3 1/2 year old daughter will pee in the potty when put on it, but rarely actually says she has to go and absolutely refuses to poop anywhere but her pull-ups. With the shitty air quality on the east coast tonight, I decided to keep her inside pantsless after changing her evening poop. That’s usually her last poop of the day, so I figured it was a low risk pants-off time to let her communicate when she needs to pee.

About 15 minutes later she pooped on the floor. What do I do? She needs to be potty trained by the time she’s four.
