Wisdom Tooth pulled, Tinnitus got worse

The title basically says it all. I've had tinnitus for the past 6-7 years (probably stress induced, but might be connected to poor dental hygiene too)

Earlier this week I've had to have one of my wisdom teeth pulled and I didn't notice anything when it happened. But in the last couple of days I've noticed that I can hear my tinnitus even when trying to mask it

I notice it when hearing movies or watching movies which never happened before and trying to fall asleep feels horrible

I've also gone through a lot of stress recently and I feel like I'm on the verge of a mental breakdown. I know my tinnitus won't go away and I've made my peace with that, but it's just so loud now and I'm scared that this is permanent :/

Edit: I have an appointment with an ENT doctor next week and am going to talk to her about it, maybe she can calm me down a bit (I'm a bit scared because she was the one that confirmed my tinnitus was permanent in the first place)
