An often overlooked benefit to the new PS1/PSP/PS2 classics

There is a hidden benefit that I don't often see posted around much at all. Did you know that in the new PS Classic program (new meaning the newest current program, not older classic programs), that when you buy a classic from the PS Store, you also get all versions of that games release? It's true! That's why your install sizes may seem quite large.

Set your console language to the region/country you want to see that version of the game from. For example, if you want to boot the SIEJ or SIEK versions of a game, set the console language to Japanese or Korean. Doing this also shows you the original game key arts of those games from those regions too (in most cases). When you boot the game, it'll boot that countries version of the game.

The only time this doesn't work is in PAL regions. Changing console language to a PAL region language will change the icon art to the PAL art, but to actually play the PAL version, you need to swap to PAL in the emulator menu.

I have here an example of this between SIEA, SIEE, SIEK, and SIEJ, and me booting into the SIEJ version of TimeSplitters 2. https://imgur.com/a/CMyfg7G

Pretty cool, huh?
