I’m sick of Thinkpad’s low battery life, moving to the MacBook Pro cult after 14 years of Thinkpad

I’m a SWE and I barely get 3 hours out of my X1 Carbon Gen 11. My friend, however, gets double that—or even up to 8 hours—with his MacBook Pro, which is nuts! Not to mention the superior screen and audio quality.

I’ve had the same issue with battery life with other laptops X1 Yoga, X1 Carbon gen 7, P15s Gen 2

I’ve been a long-time ThinkPad user since high school, but I feel like the latest models have lost their quality, so I’m making the switch.
