x1 carbon gen 7 compatibility with CAD software

my friend is selling his x1 carbon gen 7 (i7-8665U, 16gb ram, 512gb SSD) and is offering it to me for $350. I'm not too well rounded in the lenovo series and was wondering if this laptop would be good for CAD. I've been using fusion and AutoCAD recently and have been playing around with AutoCAD products (im using their education access subscription). I don't plan to design anything too massive (like a racecar or rocket) but do want to pursue some projects (like robots, small products). I also use OnShape from time to time so I was wondering if it can handle this too (it is web based so im not sure). I'm personally a fan of the sleek look, portability (huge plus), and great price (imo at least) which is why im inclined to purchase.

Will this spec be enough to handle my needs? If anyone has some better recommendations around this price range (no more that 500; used is fine), do tell!
