Just bought tftft

I‘ve been enjoying this game on and off since 2016 and finally pulled the trigger on the dlc and I’m loving it, so much stuff to find and explore. Very excited about the cooking, but i literally can’t find any pots, it seems like they were in every kitchen sink before. Also a question, how do I get to the far territories? Don’t want to read too much on the wiki, not to spoil anything.
