Starting my first blanket, anyone is changing stitches each month?

Hello beautiful people of Reddit, I'm doing my first ever temperature blanket and was wondering if it'd look good to switch stitch each month.

I'm currently working some sort bean stitch for January, and was thinking moss stitch for February then back to bean stitch,...etc. Do you think it'd look good?

Here's my WIP! I'm using this blanket as a yarn buster so my different yarns are slightly different, but I love it so far!
