How is your parents buying a plastic tree instead of a real tree traumatizing??

My entire life my mom bought fake trees from target or anywhere else and we werent poor? I don’t get why she is making it seem like she was so underprivileged bc she didn’t have a real tree like am i missing something?? she sounds like an idiot jesus 😭😭
