Anyone have thoughts on Lenovo removing the trackpoint on it's newest thinkpads?

I have thoughts, and they are intrusive.

The trackpoint has been my primary input of choice, and if Lenovo does remove it going forward, I'll probably stop getting new 'thinkpads' and use my t430, x1, and others until the heat-death of the universe ¯\(ツ)/¯
