How to tell kids that we are divorcing:(

So I am about there to file for divorce. Very afraid of how to tell my kids this is happening. I am planning on doing it together with my stbx wife.

Any advice on how to approach this? With a counselor? All of them? One at a time?? Any good or bad examples of what did or didn’t work?

Edit: I am a little suspicious that my wife found this post and created an account and made those last comments. The user is now deleted. But I checked before they deleted and it said they have been a member for about 10 days.

Talk about building trust!! I specifically asked her to give me two weeks of space and time without discussing our relationship or anything about recovery or divorce or anything. This is crazy town.
