Do any of these character's stories have satisfying conclusions or does the show just fizzle out and end?

I've been binging the show off and on for the past few months, and I'm about a quarter of the way through the Season 7 premiere.

I started to lose interest a bit last season with the whole Donna AI storyline and it being her "dream," but I still enjoy most of the characters despite their flaws.

That said, with Donna now asking to be (and almost certainly becoming) a partner, and the start of another "Louis lashes out in hurtful ways over self-inflicted emotional trauma" storyline, it feels even more like highbrow CW than usual. The characters seem to be spinning their wheels in arcs that leave them pretty much where they started.

My question is for those who've watched the entire series: Did you enjoy the last three seasons, or were you disappointed by unfinished character arcs and storylines?
