Game isso scary

I already get scaried of most of the horror games but I loved this game by watching the streamers and clips from youtubers so I wanted to try it out however, I just cant, I quit game few times already and I didnt even see one single leviathan yet lmao because I avoid scary biomes.

I built the seamoth and thought I would feel safer but the quest which away 1.1km from base is so thrilling I just alt f4 it lol.

How you guys overcome the fear of this game? Lower the noises?Because those roaring and creepy sounds give me so much chills
