Blower won’t start troubleshooting

Hi all! So I’ve had this blower probably close to 20 years at this point and it’s never let me down or had any issues. About a month ago it started becoming extremely hard to start and would flood almost immediately. When it ran, the exhaust would smoke for about 10 minutes and then it would run fine. When I shut it off, there would be smoke burning off the engine almost like it was an oil leak somewhere. This week I went to start it and couldn’t even get it to pull fully. I’m not sure if it’s a compression problem and it’s totally junk or what. Any help would be appreciated. Tried to take a video of what it sounds like when I try pulling it.
