Is there a reason mod authors don't include useful briggs support out of the box?
Why do we need a patch for every new hab containing a brig? Is it a lot of work to add support for useful brigs? It seems unnecessarily messy to me to have all these patches.
I could say the same thing about place doors yourself. Why isn't that just supported out of the box on every new hab mod? Are there massochists that still use Bethesda's random door algorithm?
/Rant!
EDIT: I apologize for the tone of this post. It was very presumptuous of me to assume every ship builder uses these mods. I was wrong.
How I should have presented this is that there's a growing problem here... There are a lot of new ship hab mods coming out these days. Ship building enthusiasts generally use 3-5 patches for these... place doors yourself, ship builder categories, useful brigs, useful infirmaries, and useful mess halls. So if someone releases a new ship hab mod, most players are going to have to see if they have patches for these 3-5 different things. And if they do, that's obviously a number of patches you need to juggle and get right in the load order. If you're using half a dozen different Hab mods like I am, that's up to 30 patches. It's only going to get worse.
