I might have to stop playing or lower the difficulty

So I've been playing A LOT and loving it but the bugs are irritating the worse one is stick drift, I've tried so many things to fix it and it won't work I've never had a game give me stick drift before it's infuriating. I'm now a good way into the story I'd say 40% and it's much harder with WAY more enemies at a time. I'm on Veteran difficulty ammo is scarce and very valuable and headshots are king but the stick drift is so bad I can't land headshots its horrible with less enemies I could spare the ammo to dump into them but now I actually have to be very precise with my shots and i can't I'd be fine if it was a skill issue but it's out of my control.
