Any place else like Sonoma County?

I thought I'd turn to this community to get your input and perspective on whether you've ever been to another place quite like Sonoma County?

I've got family ties here going back to my grandfather. But I just retired and being on a fixed income means I'll have to downsize my life. If I have to move anyways, I just thought I should explore all options.

I love the quality of life here. I've got great access to numerous parks for recreation. And access to good healthcare as well.

Other than places I've visited in Chile and New Zealand, I've never found a place quite like our beautiful county. It is kind of a Goldilocks place in terms of climate, recreation, urban/rural mix, etc.. Just curious what others have found around the country or around the world.
