Another 100% glass chain I made! Details in description.

Here’s another 100% borosilicate glass chain, this one features a pendant which has a square shaped opal encased in the glass. Not pictures is the clasp in the back which is also 100% glass! The colour is called Roswell and is by a company called North Star Glass. Do you see more green or yellow? It's always been a debate between my fellow artists and I.

I use a table top torch that utilizes propane and oxygen to bring the glass up to it's melting point (3000F). I use a rod of dense graphite, another glass rod, and gravity as my tools to shape the links.

You may be more familiar with borosilicate glass than you’d think, as borosilicate is the kind of glass used to make pyrex brand of cookware! It is so versatile and I am just so addicted to this craft in love with this craft! Thanks again for all the love and support!
