Best trucks for early game?

I just started the game a couple days ago and so far I’m getting along pretty easily in Michigan, but I’m curious what trucks got everyone through the earlier ranks the best. I have several decent options for trucks at the moment, the Ank seems to shine most for me when dealing with muddy terrain even if it’s a little thirsty. I’ve found very few upgrades so far, I’m only rank 3, and I just finished uncovering the map in Black River. So if anyone has any strong suggestions that’ll pay off in the long-haul (truck pun), I’m all ears. Thanks!
