Helmet stigma?
I want to start this off saying 2 things
I am NOT trashing on anybody for their choices I myself wear a helmet
I've noticed whenever someone doesn't have a helmet, usually someone new to snowboarding, they get bombarded with comments telling them to wear a helmet. The comments say "oh i always wear a helmet" and blah blah blah you know the rest. My question is why don't people think the same way toward pros/extremley good riders.
"It's just a chill lap" but what happens if you crash or something like that. I'm confused why people who are more skilled or do more dangerous stuff than the average rider doesn't always wear a helmet and isn't bombarded with comments telling them to do so. But then an above average ride who doesn't wear a helmet they are told to wear one.
PS: I'm not telling anyone to wear a helmet, just confused on why some people get yelled at to when others dont
