Small Digital Business Startups, how did you do it?

Hey Everybody,

I'm a newbie to the business scape and I wanted to start small with something such as a logo designing company, I have started on Fiverr as a freelancer but I was wondering if there was a way for me to kind of boost my presence further?

For reference, I don't have a lot of time, I work Part-time about 21 hours a week and am a Full-time University Student for the rest of the time, I wanted to do something that's a bit hit or miss and won't cost me much to begin, I'm not afraid to fail but I am afraid to lose things that I cannot afford to lose, I have a lot of expenses due to my situation at home and so on.

Have any of you guys started something similar online and if so what advice can you offer me? Any help would be much appreciated.
