When you’ve played Skyrim for so long that you decide you want to be a normal and boring NPC-like character 😂

Edit 2: All is going well so far. My character Martha Risingwing (my 🎱 league nickname is Phoenix, so I had to put something of myself in her and Breton last names can end in -wing) has mostly avoided conflict and met her future husband. I’m playing in Survival Mode and adore cooking, taking carriages, and having to sleep to level up. The scariest thing that happened is the assassin from the Dark Brotherhood came for me while I was collecting ingredients in the wild so I ran 😂

Edit: I am loving reading your comments and character backstories! Keep em coming! 🤗

Last night, I couldn’t sleep because I came up with a build/backstory idea. It is the simplest thing, but my brain was having fun making up the story in my head.

Basically, I want to pick a character that already has higher alchemy stats (like Breton or Bosmer) where all she wants is to practice her alchemy and have a quiet little life in Riften. She wants to marry Balimund the blacksmith and adopt a couple of kids. She fishes and helps the locals with small chores.

BUT she keeps getting pulled into quests after hearing the call of the Greybeards because of her kind nature and she wants to learn shouts. And then she wants to build a house, but her potions don’t sell for a lot. So she joins the thieves guild after the enticing offer from Brynjolf.

And that’s kind of where my mind left off 🤣 Has anyone else done this? Was there a point that you said screw it and just did the main quest and/or became the sneaky light-armored archer out of habit and ease?
