Is it becoming a norm for family to take their kid to the supermarket w a remote kiddy car?

That kiddy car is clumsy and you need some remote control skills to ensure is a smooth ride. I mean I have seen skate scooters and bicycles but this is by far the most outrageous. Other shoppers have to give way while the car pivots out. Then we have other shopping carts in the mix as well.
