Students with credit for [redacted]100 or [redacted]100W may not take this course for further credit.

Enrolled in a class at the 300 level with that strange little disclaimer in it.. Does this mean the 3 credits from my 300 level course won't count towards units taken in my degree??!! Like, paying to take an elective and not getting any units from it? Is that what that means?
