The Jesus and Mary Chain Book

Has somebody read Never Understood by William and Jim Reid from The Jesus and Mary Chain? These days I am desperately looking for Music biographies but I got tired by the typical Rock biographies with the boring "Sex, Drugs and Rock n' Roll" stuff. I enjoyed Nick Mason's Inside Pink Floyd and really wish to get something similar for a shoegaze band.

Is Never Understood really worth it?

I also consider Fingers Crossed by Miki Berenyi, but am afraid to find it boring.

PS: I got Deryck Whibley's memoir and am excited to read it as I grew up a fan of his music
