The characters and their weird morals

I‘m currently rewatching the show and often times stumble upon scenes where the characters, mostly the fucked up ones, have some weird morals and priorities that you wouldn’t expect from them given the contrast to their personalities.

Some examples include the scene where Karen refused to join that organization that was in favor of destigmatizing the word retard. I thought that was kind of strange considering how insensitive she was over her own disabled child and her own self-destructive behavior.

There is also a scene where Mandy suspected Lip of watching a porno and described it as the same as cheating on her. That came totally out of the blue for me, I didn’t know she would even set that priority considering what a promiscuous person she used to be.
