Shakira (13) passed over the rainbow bridge this morning unexpectedly

We found Shakira 13 years ago as an alone kitten in the middle of the road. She had one eye completely shut which, to our pleasant surprise, was simply infected & eventually returned to normal. She was a little grump of a kitty, possibly in relation to trauma before we found her, or just her silly personality. Despite being a grump, she got softer over the years & really was a sweet baby girl. A sweetie who yelled at the top of her lungs for food always, and yes we listened too many times as you can tell. I’ll miss forcing her to cuddle with me by holding her in my arms. She acted like she didn’t like it but the purring revealed otherwise! Now she joins her former best friend pup & my father up above to live freely. I thought we had more time with you but alas it was not to be. RIP my baby girl I will forever miss her
