Height change after surgery.

I am 15M, i am currently around 154, i heared the growth plates close after scoliosis surgery or something related, i currently last time i checked had 50° of scoliosis and i just dont feel comfortable being that height, i dont really want some fake guy saying i will grow 20cm taller or something like that rather an true answer to my questions, Will my growth plates close and will i stop growing after surgery? How can i calculate an aproximate of how much will i grow after surgery (scheduled for next 5-6 months), any info would be appreciated :)
