What's all the sudden influx of talk about pedos for? I've got an idea, but I'd like to hear your thoughts.

There's an odd uptick in posts like this, often with vibes of places like /traa and /196. This is not a political subreddit. Anything sexuality-related or rights-related is a political topic. I think personally this is a massive psyop. The feds say things you'll agree with and add in small little details, slowly moving the (What's a non-political version of the Overton window? Goalpost?) further and further until you fall back under the Antichrist's spell of servitude. Preaching to the choir is cringe. You're not being "controversial", you're just saying what we know already. I mean, at least put in some effort to disguise how obvious it is that the people making these posts are government agents. Notice as well that they also bring LGBT issues into this as well. I'll say it again, political issue. ALL POLITICIANS ARE SERVANTS OF THE ANTICHRIST.
