Vorkath is fun but makes the same mistakes as Rasial
Vorkath has decent mechanics & it is pretty clear how to deal with them (pray mage + reflect for fire breath, anticipate & reflect, surge through and protect melee for spikes etc) - you can generally use little to no supplies in normal mode with a bit of practice.
The problem is the base damage, especially in hard mode. Like Rasial, the damage stacks up redicuously & you are forced to cycle defensives before you even get to the mechanics because praying correctly simply isn't enough.
Raksha, Arch Glacor & Telos are examples of this done correctly. You get punished for not praying correctly & responding to the mechanics appropriately.(Telos SMP is a great example)
Vorkath needs to be adjusted to this style. Make the abilities more punishing. Reward the player for fighting the boss correctly and responding to the mechanics & make missing prayers etc punishing. Instead of just dumping damage on the player at all stages and making it a tank test.
