[Zambezi Zinger] is disappointing
Now I'm going to preface this by saying, It's not the worst thing I've ever rode (I'm looking at you Boss from Six Flags St Louis) but I just feel like its such a letdown.
My first big complaint is the ride type, Why did we get another wodden coaster from GCI, We already have Prowler and Timberwolf, which both fill the wooden coaster spot, we didn't need a third one. They should have built a coaster to fill a gap in our lineup, Like a Launch, Dive, Wing, or even just a proper family coaster. (I wouldn't have this complaint if they kept the 46 inch height requirement, but they didn't)
Second Complaint is how unreliable this ride is, becuase they use drive tires, it means any time it rains, it goes down, and when I worked there last year it was always constantly going down for some maintenance issues, more so then most of the other rides
Third complaint is the restraints. I'm slightly above average hieght, so when I first rode it, I wasn't prepared for the Restraint to crush my thighs and constrict my legs. It doesn't help that it gets pushed down during the ride making it hard to stay comfortable, you better hope you don't get stuck in the break run or your going to be in pain for quite awhile.
And my last complaint, is just how rough it is. This is a brand new GCI, how is it already rougher than Prowler in sections. Now I wouldn't be complaining about this if the whole ride felt the same, expect it doesn't. The turn around the lift uses GCI's Titan track, and it's so noticeable when you go from Glass Smooth to Classic Wooden. At that point why didn't they just Titan track the whole thing, If it runs rough now I don't want to know what it runs like down the line
Anyway that's all, I'm probably just in a minority, but man I really wish they had just done something different
