[Other] What ride made you fall in love with roller coasters?

Hard question for me to answer. I want to say El Toro at SFGA. It was my first ever big boy coaster, as I'd only ever ridden kiddy coasters when I was younger and this one looper I don't remember the name of in Las Vegas. It still terrified me, but I came off of that ride satisfied and hopeful that my fear of roller coasters would go away.

Unfortunately, Nitro managed to scare me even more. That first drop killed me and my favorite part of the ride was the feeling of relief when the ride ended and I took off the restraints.

Since then, I've ridden Batman the Ride and Storm Runner at Hershey Park. I liked both of those, but the fear is still there and I'm still not excited to ride anything else, despite wanting to enjoy coasters. A park employee suggested I ride Candymonium or Skyrush to conquer the fear. But Candymonium is basically Hershey Park's Nitro. I'm thinking of finally doing Cyclone at Luna Park to see if I can feel something other than "post ride relief".

What about you guys? What kicked off your love of coasters?
