I borrowed my fiancé’s watch and accidentally hit it against the door noob

Yes, as said in the title, I was stupid enough to somehow swung my arm and hit this right at the door noob. Now there is a little dent/scratch on the bezel now; pretty sure it wasn’t there when I got it from him. Initially thought it was just a dirt, but then tried everything to clean and wipe it off, but I guess it’s “permanent” mark now.

This is his favorite watch and only wear this on special occasions. I few so terrible right now giving this back to him without having a clear resolution to solve/minimize this defect on appearance of the watch . Any advice would be appreciated a lot!
