Are we mismanaging our injuries?

Throughout the season there have been multiple instances of guys getting injured, returning from injury and not looking 100%, and then missing extended time with the same injury (insert Toradol meme here).

In December, Sharpe missed 5 games with an abductor injury, came back and played 6 games, and subsequently re-aggravated the injury and needed season ending surgery.

On March 14, Simons missed a game due to a sore left knee, came back and played 4 games, and now is out for an extended period of time (you can blame the tank, but in the Clippers game where he got re-injured he clearly was in a lot of pain and could barely walk to the locker room).

On march 16, Thybulle missed a game due to an ankle injury. He then came back and played 5 minutes before exiting the game with the same injury and missing 5 games. Then he came back on March 29, played 7 minutes before injury the same ankle AGAIN and is now out again.

Ayton missed 3 games from December 6 to December 11 due to right knee soreness. He then played 6 games before the knee started bothering him again and subsequently missed the next 12 games (3 weeks).

My question is: is this normal around the league? I haven’t paid attention to this before, but this seems kind of weird, right? But I never really went out of my way to notice these things around the league so I don’t know if it’s something that just happens, or not.
