Need help with printing miniature bases!
-I have a Saturn 3 Ultra Resin Printer, -I use the demo Chitubox for slicing (with mixed opinions on it so far) -And I use Elegoo Standard Photopolymer Gray Resin
My problem is that whenever I try to print a base— whether that be a fancy terrain one, or quite literally a flat boring basic one, it doesn’t EVER finish printing. I’ve done different things, like raising the level, playing with supports thickness, printing one at a time, but no matter what I do, it never, ever finishes printing and always ends up failing and leaving cured resin in my vat.
Does anyone have any experience at all with this? I mean, I can LITERALLY print Demon Prince Angron (big big model for context), a full heavy tank, figures, Dreadnoughts, but I can’t for the life of me print a simple flat base… why? I just can’t understand why no matter what I do, it doesn’t want to print? I just load the bases into the program, keep it arranged how it is for context, flat, then do high accuracy auto supports, but regardless it fails. I’m sort of baffled by this, it’s hilarious I can create hundreds dollar models for $6 in my bedroom, but I can’t create a tiny base.
TDLR, I can’t print miniature base stands for some reason, but can print almost anything else.
