There is Absolutely No Reason Why Multiple Rounds of Interviews Should Be a Thing

There is no reason why people need to waste their time going through multiple rounds of interviews when everyone who plays a role on who gets hired can join a group meeting at once. There is nothing worse than going through multiple rounds of interview and spending weeks in the dark just to get rejected when this all can be done in a matter of a few days. On top of that, the longer companies take to make a decision, assuming that it's not a ghost job posting, the longer people go without making any money. The only exception is when a recruiter calls to explain the job and to see if you're interested. Companies need to respect people's time and single round interviews should be the norm with 99% of companies.
