This one was a new one. Had my wife baffled too. After a workplace injury, I can't do my job anymore so I started looking at different gigs I would actually enjoy. I've worked maintenance in a sewer plant my whole career so getting into something else is a stretch. I get it. I build overland campers and campervans as a side gig and it's becoming a more popular thing in the US. So it's on my resume as a fun job I applied to a place to be a buyer for a car dealer. I have some experience in the side gig so figured I'd give it a whirl. After I applied, I saw buried in the ad it was a 1099 so I lost interest. I get this email this morning. He tells me I'm unqualified for the job but wants free advice to make his business money. I about fell over. I found it funny. AITA for not wanting to give him free advice?
