I fucking despise white LED headlights in cars

Legitimately how are these things legal? I feel like I’m driving towards someone with their brights on. It’s insane how I can’t drive at night at literally anytime without being blinded by one of these things. I thought that it was just a bunch of dumbasses with their brights on, but no, newer cars apparently just have headlights that are as bright as the sun. I just got home from driving at night from a friend’s house and I literally feel like I need to lie down and close my eyes for a few hours. Not even sleep, just close my eyes. My fucking head hurts. How did these lights even get past basic testing?
