What’s the smallest or weirdest reason they flipped out on you for?

When I was 11, my mom stopped talking to me for five days because I asked my dad if we could leave for school without her since I was running late. She only wanted to ride with us to get dropped off at a park nearby, but she always took an extra 15 minutes to get ready after we were already in the car. When my dad called to check if it was okay to leave without her, she came out in five minutes and stopped talking.

I was scared, I kept asking if she was mad and tried to joke with her and do nice things for her but she ignored all of it. Then she sat me down one day and told me that everything I have is hers and she should be able to do whatever she wants with it. She told me I was ungrateful and that she should’ve never gave birth to me. I told her that she shouldn’t have because I was sick of this family. She lashed out and hit me with a stick until there were bruises all over my thigh. I’m so happy I don’t need to go through that again, ever.
