Just had my first 7 hours of sleep!

So my new puppy Shire has been a handful but to all the people lurking, it gets better. Don’t skimp on the scheduled, it’s worth it. I’ve only had Shire for about a week now. He’s 9 weeks today. I’ve had a 2 hour timer set on my phone to take him out, yes even in the night and even if he’s empty. I am still a zombie but I really want to get this right. Well last night I fell asleep at 12 and slept through my alarm. Jumped up scared that there was going to be a massive mess everywhere. He was sound asleep in his playpen in my room and we went out side for a long pee. I don’t intend on going that long without a pee break again for the time being but I can’t explain how proud I was of my baby.

We’re still working on his razor shark milk teeth and nipping but I will take the sleep! Don’t give up and craft the right behaviors for your puppy it will be worth it. If you are a zombie from lack of sleep, I commend you and send strength ,I’m right there with you!
