Are the AirBnB Experience boat/hiking tours worth doing?
I'm visiting with my girlfriend in a few weeks, but we're only there from a Sunday to a Wednesday. With such little time, I wasn't sure if it would be worthwhile to do a daytrip of some kind or spend most of our time around the city.
I was considering one of the many boat/beach oriented day trips. Looking over the AirBnB Experiences section, it looks like they all predominantly cover the same territory - go to this beach, snorkel here, swim there, open bar on the trip back to Puerto Vallarta. We did one out in Croatia which was a nice way to spend the day, so we have an idea of what it'd be like.
Not AirBnB, but similar:
Are these things we could orchestrate ourselves or are the destinations accessible only by guides?
Are these kinds of days worth doing or are they really more of a tourist trap?
Does anyone have any specific recommendations of ones they've done?
