Cigars on the beach
A gentleman handed me a box of Cuban cigars.
Are they safe to smoke?
He wanted 1000 pesos for them, but then walked away and said he'd come back later to collect money for them
So now I have these Cuban Cigars that I haven't paid for and not sure if I should smoke them or not. The box is wrapped and they're all wrapped individually
Edit:
Nothing looked right on the packaging, even without knowing a lot about Cubans, I knew the packaging was wrong.
He walked away and I never saw him again today, I took the cigar box and the lighter he gave me to the front desk of the resort and explained what happened and that I didn't want them.
If him or anyone else asks for them back I'll say they are still sealed at the front desk of the resort
I'm really not sure what his goal was, since he left and I never saw him again.
My thoughts are they are either laced with something and he hoped I'd smoke them right away, and was watching or he has some sort of a tracker in the box to find the room we are in and get access while we were outside.
Either way, I think I'm in the clear and I appreciate all the insight into where I can find a legit/decent cigar while I'm here!
