Shawns fake psychicness Psych 2

I don’t know if this is just me, but I was bothered in Psych 2 by the lack of fake psychic visions. It seemed to make it feel a little off. I loved the tribute to the characters but it seemed too much focused on that. At times you definitely forget the whole psychic thing that was the basis for the show. I felt similar about the first movie but not to the extent. Everyone around him knows but not the rest of the 2 departments and the bit seems a bit dead.
