F/27/5’2 [158 > 148 = 10lbs lost] (6 month progress)
I started this year with a goal to recomp and get back into a rhythm for the things I enjoy. I thought I’d aim for 140lbs as my goal weight but tbh I am SO comfy in my skin right now that I am not stressing about the number at all. Being short, it feels like 10lbs took forever — especially the last few. Sheesh!
I don’t see a lot of gals my size/weight often so I wanted to share a newer update. Only 10lbs lost but it feels like so much more when I look at these photos.
I started the year tracking everything and lifting. Summer hit and I chose freedom over routine. After May, I got to the gym about once or twice a week most of the time. Im reallllly active and live in the mountains so I never stopped moving, just didn’t want to use my time in the gym when it was so perfect out.
I walk everyday with my pup (4-8 miles), focus on protein heavy foods and aim to get no less than 120g daily.
As it cools off I tend to get back into my gym routine but I’m really happy that I’ve maintained progress through a looser season. Habits make the difference! I follow the 80/20 rule — 80% of the time I choose the better option but let’s not be fooled: ya girl is eating ice cream and pasta too.
Curious where I’ll be in another 6 months, I’ll come back and share when I’m there!
Love this sub, its so inspiring! Keep crushing friends!
