My poodle just killed a rat, is this normal?

This is Sarah (the white one). She’s a toy, and is about 4 years old. Just 15 minutes ago, I let her out at night to do her business when I heard a god-awful screeching noise. I rushed out, and found Sarah reaping the soul of a rat with my other toy (George, the black one) observing the execution.

Pictured is the victim, for the curious. I don’t think she pierced its skin because there’s no blood, but I think she broke its neck. There’s no rabies in my country so there isn’t any risk of that, but I am a bit concerned. Is this normal for the poodle breed? She’s killed a wild baby turkey before, too 😭 I know that they’re hunting dogs, but I thought it was specifically for ducks/waterfowl.
