Pieces that don’t come out right

What does everybody do with pieces that don’t come out the way you wanted? I made something recently that I really just don’t like and I’m not sure what to do with it. Do you ever just throw stuff out?

Edit: Thank you for all the responses. This is helpful, I’m going to keep the piece in a box because I don’t like looking at it but think it might be a good idea to look at it later.
