If you could have any Pokemon as your starter Pokemon, what would it be?

If you entered the world of Pokemon and became a trainer, which Pokemon would you want to have as your first partner?

None of the Fire, Water, or Grass restrictions. Any Pokemon from any series. And what the heck, Fan-made Pokemon included.

Basic rules: has to be initial evolution, no legends or mythics, if you want to use a fan-made Pokemon then please include a link to artwork and such.

For me, I think I would go for a Beldum.
