Cat secretly peeing in my money tree - can it be saved?

I can’t believe I didn’t notice it sooner, my poor money tree has suffered such an indignity lol. I’m not sure which cat is doing it or how long it’s been going on because whoever it is has been VERY sneaky and has never gotten caught in the act. But cat urine is so acidic it’s torched my poor plant. Seeing how much damage has been done makes me think it’s been happening for a while.

Any suggestions/advice on how to treat it to try to save it (I’m moving it to a place the cats can’t reach it of course)? I feel like I should treat the base somehow, but it’s already been through so much and I don’t know if my best bet it to just repot with new soil and hope for the best. If it was just a one time pee I would try diluting with a mixture of vinegar and water to try to neutralize the acidity, but it’s clearly penetrated the plant itself so I’m worried it can’t take more stress.

I’ve been watering it carefully and it gets appropriate light - I’m not worried about it other than the cat pee. I’m pretty good with plants so I’d been wracking my brain trying to figure out why it was suffering. It wasn’t until I had a revelation looking at one of my cats hanging out next to it that I got up in there and smelled the soil and discovered my cats’ terrible nighttime secret.
