Belly Button Piercing

I got my belly button pierced exactly a week ago and i'm really confused as to why there is a lot of redness around the top . There is also a small amount of crust which I have cleaned off with the solution my piercer recommended to use twice a day. I have not touched it as my piercer said not to and have only worn plasters three times when doing sports. Does anyone know what i should do?
