Interior photography lenses

Hoping to discuss lens options as I start taking on interiors (not real estate) work. While it’s often hand-in-hand with architecture, I can’t see myself shooting large commercial structures and their exteriors. My interest is in shooting residential, some hospitality, possibly boutique hotels, etc.

I shoot with a Canon R5, and my question is how best to distribute my funds for lenses.

I currently have a 14-35 F4 L so the wider end is more than covered. I’m prepared to trade this in though, as while it’s handy for the odd facade shot and high ceilings of large foyers, the focal range is wasted when I step inside. Even 24mm feels too wide for my style - perhaps something to adjust to. I personally love shooting at 50 if space allows.

A 24 f3.5 tilt-shift seems a no-brainer, so TSEs aside, what about zooms? Most in this niche appear to opt for 24-70 f2.8, but I LOVE the 28-70 f2. Is this overkill? The bokeh is unmatched for detail shots/vignettes which I suspect will be important for my target client profile (editorial-style storytelling and lifestyle shots). I do love shooting with primes too - and some describe its output quality as effectively having 4 primes in one.

But the cost would mean I’d have to forego purchasing a TS-E and rent an EF TSE for quite some time. What are your thoughts on lens combinations to cover all bases in this niche?
