Photography portfolio

Hi all,

I’ve been doing photography for a few years and want to start trying to make money off of it. I need to build out my portfolio for that of course and I was wondering if anyone has advice on how to do that. So far I’ve been reaching out to businesses and I might offer to do a few free photoshoots for families and such to get my name out there. Anything would be helpful!
